Raymarine HS5

The Raymarine HS ethernet network switch allows high speed communication between multiple Raymarine AXIOM displays and accessories (Radar, cameras, etc.).

The installation is easy, simply connect the power to 12V via a circuit breaker, then connect each AXIOM display and accessory to the display using a Raymarine SeaTalk HS network cable.

Following the installation, the accessories should become available automatically. If multiple AXIOM MFD displays are connected it is required to first configure one of them as the master. The master will hold the charts which then can be view on the other connected AXIOM displays. Only the master is required to have a chart card installed.

NMEA 2000 accessories only need to be connected to the master AXIOM display, the data will be rebroadcasted to all other displays on the SeaTalk HS network via the Raymarine HS5 switch.

The switch has 4 ports of 100 Mbps Ethernet to connect MFDs and accessories and one Gigabit uplink port for connecting an additional switch. The connectors are Raymarine proprietary and not compatible with standard ethernet RJ45, though there should be adaptors available for this, if required.
